Container Of The Solar Cells Is Ready

After you’ve finished making your container, it’s now the part to get the solar cells wired. If you bought the pre-tabbed solar cells then you will only have to connect all the cells up by soldering them at the back. But if it’s un-tabbed,you will need to connect two tab ribbon to the two front electrodes by applying solder to the tab ribbon twice on each of the cells and have the tab ribbon to come off of the solar cells to attach to the back of the next cell in series. Then, also solder the remaining tab ribbon to the back electrode to have the connection done. Also, be sure to solder a little length of tab ribbon lead to the negative side of the first cell, so that the completed strings will have leads coming from both ends. Here’s something that you have to take note about, whenever you want to have your solar cells faced down, put it on a soft surface like cotton cloths.
